And here's something we all missed but luckily my wife was there to get this shot!

Of course the Mandalorian Mercs were on the scene in full force!

Notice in the background (above) the life size TIE Interceptor!

The rest of my Hasbro booth pics have been posted. Once again you can click HERE and see what else I got for photos.

I'm really glad ONE of us in the group got the 501st photo! Thanks Lisa! Xaos, those Mando pics came out GREAT! I was talking with one of the Mercs, and it turns out he is from Portland, Maine! I was telling my brother (the one who DIDN'T go to CV) about it, and he knows him! They were room mates in college for a while! What a small world, even half way across the country! LOL.

Now it's time to share some random pics I was able to take durring the show.

And now for the TFN Party pics from Thursday night!

The party didn't get started until Dave and the boys got there!

We finally found Jimmy Mac and Jason Swank, the hosts of the Forcecast, and gave them their magnets! wattosjunkshop.com magnet included!

Seth Green made a brief appearance but couldn't stay long do to the mob scene that followed him around the room.

and of course a few of the Clone Wars voice actors were mixing with the crowd. I heard a cricket chirping out in the lobby and sure enough, it was Dee Baker (the voice of Captain Rex and all the clones) doing sound effects!

I wandered back inside and found Tom Kane (the new voice of Yoda) and got a quick pic with him. We talked about his studio in his house briefly. He just records from there and e-mails everything to Lucasfilm. Pretty wild!

And just before they left my wife noticed Anakin himself, Matt Lanter. I had to crop myself out of this photo because no one looks good next to this guy!

Well, we had a blast and Dave Filoni and the Forcecast podcasters now have Watto's magnets and cards! To top it all off, Derek and I BOTH won autographed photos in the raffle! I got a Mike Edmunds Logray pic and DJ got an Anthony Forest Fixer pic. Good times!!!

I'll admit I was starting to get a little worried about the 35 dollar ticket price. Then about half an hour after we got there, the party got REALLY good REALLY fast! I had no idea Adam was out there in the lobby smoozing with the actors. Hell I didn't even know most of them were there till it was too late!!

It was a GREAT time, and yes, we put wattos swag in some hands. Let's just hope they kept it!

Oh yeah, he was workin' the crowd! DJ was all business!

Haha, I just remembered the noise Dee Bradley Baker made just before my wife snapped the picture. That dude is hilarious! It was a loud alien beast type noise.

PostSubject: Re: CELEBRATION V COVERAGE   Thu Aug 19, 2010 10:57 pm

My wife just found a few magnets and cards that didn't get handed out. I'll pass them out at Chicago Comic-Con this weekend. After CV I have to take it easy for this one. It's a bunch of Trek people anyway! Maybe I'll just chill with Daniel all day and get some real Star Wars stories out of him. I'm going to try and get an Ahsoka auto too. Her line was too long at CV.

I think for my final photo coverage for this week (since I'm headed for Chi-Town) I will post some autograph hall pics!

James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi - The Clone Wars)

Mike Edmunds (Logray)

Dickey Beer (Boba Fett Stunt Man - Return of the Jedi)

Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka - The Clone Wars)

Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett)

Me and Greedo!!! Paul Blake

Daniel Logan and Dylan

And this was a nice surprise! Sense Anthony Daniels was hidden behind a curtain the whole time, I was kind of bummed I didn't get to see him. My daughter nudged me while we were staring at the Hoth dioramas and I looked over and he was standing right next to me staring at them too. I finally asked for a picture and he was happy to do it. I really wish I could have heard him talk like Threepio, but he didn't really say much.

Daniel and my daughter Selena (she can't wait to show this one to her boyfriend who just so happens to be a Star Wars fan)

Ray Park (Darth Maul) signing a picture of himself with my son at C2E2

Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca)

Jake Lloyd (Anakin TPM)

Derek and Warwick Davis (Wicket)

Jaime King (Aurra Sing - The Clone Wars) and Kyle Newman (Director of Fan Boys)

Cat Tabor (Padme - The Clone Wars)

Alan Harris (Bossk)

And while I was waiting in line for Alan Harris to sign look who showed up!

Mike Quinn (Nien Nunb and puppeteer)

Chris Parsons (4-LOM and K-3PO)

Matt Wood (General Grievous and the Battle Droids)

And of course you all know the story about the big names! No photos and they stay behind the curtains. I guess it would cause a frenzy if they were out and about. I did catch a glimpse of Carrie again when someone came out of her booth. But for the most part this was all you got see unless you waited in line for the panels or paid the big money...

Well I'm off to Chicago. I think I'll just shop for Star Wars toys all weekend this time. I panicked at CV and ran around at the last minute searching for something to buy. I ended up with an Unleashed Aurra Sing figure and a Shadow Scout from San Diego Comic-Con. They were probably too expensive but oh well, I had to buy something.

That's all for now. Back to you, DJ121!

Just got internet access after a week away - the photos and coverage is amazing. I really wish I could have been there - but being able to read through this is great.

Aim for Celebration VI - attend and have a Watto's stand!

Alright, well I guess it is up to me to wrap things up. I have well over 350 pics, so obviously not going to post them all, but here are more pics from the Hasbro booth. These dioramas are just awesome!

We really did have a GREAT time, and I hope we did a fairly good job covering what we could. If you guys are looking for more, rebelscum.com and the forcecast.net guys have a LOT more then we could get to. Check them out, and between those guys and us, it will feel just like you all were there!

Here are some individual pics of upcoming figures. Please excuse the quality, as this is after my camera died and I was using my cell.

I don't know if you guys are sick of photos or not, so let me know if you WANT to see more. I have a lot of pics left from Hasbro, including the HOTH Diorama, and the diorama contest winner from 2009. An AWESOME Bespin carbon freezing chamber. I also have lots of random show pics, and a few from the fan built Hoth Diorama, done right at the show.

These arre the pics of the Bespin Diorama. This was FAN MADE as an entry for the contest Hasbro had back in 2009.

I tried to get a photo of the plaque on the front but it did not come out very well. Here is what is reads.

That carbon freezing chamber was amazing. I'll make sure to load more pics as soon as I can. I have tons of stuff. Just got home from Chicago and while the con was no celebration, I did buy tons of figures for really cheap. I got 5 12" figures for $5 each!

While there were no Lucas archives at Clelebration this time, the show was NOT without props! From giant AT-ATs to giant Jabbas, there was always something to see! These alien costumes were beyond great! Jabba, The Max Rebo Band, Hammerhead and Muftak were props. Ephant Mon was a prop too but someone actually got in it and was walking around a little, VERY slowly.

come.

And they even had a free photo booth where you could do this! Your choice, Han or Boba. Of course we chose Boba!

This was just the stuff in the main room. The R2 Builders and 501st had their own rooms and they were out of this world! I totally missed taking a picture of the life-size snowspeeder. You could climb inside and take photos. The line was always long.

They also had the vintage Boba Fett cardback and bubble that was at San Diego Comic-Con. Luckily my wife waited in line to get my son in there with his costume on.

It was Dylan's idea to lay down his blaster.

I have to say, I've been to a few of these shows now, and Hasbro really went all out this time. Here is the Grievous from their booth too.

One of the coolest things about Hasbro's booth was that they had two LCD TV's playing their commercials the entire time. I didn't stay long enough to notice if they were Hasbro or Kenner or both. I wish they would collect them all on a disc for us collectors.

I would love to meet more people from here at C6. I know it's hard to pay for all of this, which I will be doing for a looong time, lol, but the memories are really worth it. I just hope I can drive to the next one. Air fare sucks!!!

I'm really glad you got some great pics of that prop section, I got a few but you got much better ones!

I have a few more from the Hasbro Hoth diorama. Sorry in advance if any of these are re posts! I'm trying to keep track, but I have a lot of pics to keep sorted!
