So far, I think season 2 is AWSOME! The story lines have really become more in depth and the animation is simply amazing!

Just saw EP 10 "The Deserter". WOW! This show is getting good! I'm gonna have to watch that again. A little weird seeing Rex with his shirt off though! lol

and what were they eating at the table!? Freaky! Reminded me of the back story I did for Xaos and him eating all the raw connoks! Tastes just like chicken!

If anyone here isn't following this show online, you really should. The second season is really blowing me away.

I have only seen the first two episodes of Season 1 - and they were a little weak - does the season get better? Is it worth picking up on DVD?

This second Season seems to be much darker from the trailers and I love the idea of the bounty hunters.

i really enjoyed season 1 jim. is does start a little slow, but it gets better. i finished watching the entire season the other day. season 2, so far is alot better though. i have a 4 episode disc in my trades which is 1 of the better story arcs. in season 2 we really start too see vader come out a little. ive noticed the droids arnt as funny. i liked the comedy, but it kinda gave it a less serios tone. i think theyre figureing it out. im not as critical as some though. hopefully theyre listening to the fans. we're the 1's tuning in every week.

Jim, I agree with Myles totally. When it first started I was taping it at someone's house who had cable because I don't. The first episode was great but then I got a little bored with the next story arc. I gave up on it until the season was released on DVD. Then I watched it straight through. It got better each time, but the season finale really paid off I thought. Then season two picks up right there and just keeps getting better.

I know some of you guys are very Original Trilogy, but honestly the clone wars is getting better than the prequels I'm starting to think. I see it is definitely not for young kids anymore. I'm questioning whether to let my son watch season two right away. There are a few disturbing things that really jump out at you. He already gets upset every time Greivous kills a Jedi or a clone gets shot, which is actually quite often.

It's getting heavy now half way through the second season and I can't wait to see the bounty hunters again. I think the third and fourth seasons are going to really blow are minds.

But of course, I don't want anyone to go drop $35 or $40 on a box set of DVD's if they don't want to. But I'm not disappointed at all. When I finally get a blue ray player, I think this will be the first thing I buy.

I don't know about the UK, Jim, but here you can borrow the season one discs at the public library. That's one option.

By the way, the forcecast said this show is rated the #1 boys show on every channel it is on. But hey, it is GL. I already knew that would happen. Can't wait for the live action show! I hear there is another animated show in the works also.

I just listened to an older forcecast episode about comic-con and I heard Dave Filoni talking a little about season 2. I know this may be old news by now, but some of you haven't been watching the show. I guess when they were showing a picture of the bounty hunters on stage, this person from G4 TV had no clue about Star Wars and asked him "Who is this little guy and what's his story. He looks so sad." Dave said "Oh, we don't need to know his story. That kid is trouble. Yeah, poor Boba." He also showed them a picture of the planet Mandalore!!!!!!!! I can NOT wait!!! Young Boba, Mandalorians and Mandalore.

This show is about to EXPLODE into places I've been wanting them to go for a long time.

I definitely remember seeing Mandalorian armour in the Season 2 Trailer. It comes at the end if I remember rightly. Perhaps 3 warriors in Fett like suits.

I feel ya brother!

By the way I just remembered that you can buy episodes of the clone wars on itunes I think. That way you don't have to drop all that money at once for the box set. I think I heard they are $1.99 each.

I'm really upset that starwars.com took all the episodes offline. Now they just keep the last two there. I'm lucky that I got to catch all of the season two shows just before they pulled them. I am really hooked now!

Who would have thought thirty years ago that we would get to see twenty-two episodes of star wars per year for four or five years straight???

I can't wait for the live action show!!!!!!!!

More importantly, did you ever think that as grown men we would even be talking about cartoons at all? LOL But I do have to say that Clone Wars season 2 is really way better then what I was expecting, and I am loving it!

The first episode of "The Mandalore Plot" is online at starwars.com if anyone is interested who may have missed it. I think the entire three story arc will end up being really good but this first one started off a little slow.

Watch The Mandalore Plot Here

Wow, I'm not sure what has happened but I am getting sort of disappointed with the show. I waited a month for this show to come back on and the last two episodes have been very weak. Maybe it's just my own taste but the last two shows really haven't done it for me. What do you all think?

There were several episodes in the beginning of the season that had me loving the show finally, but after the Mandalore plot that felt kind of flat and now these I am feeling a little disappointed. I guess I shouldn't expect every episode to hit it out of the park.

So where did the bounty hunters go? I'm getting a little tired of senators. I would really like to see a little more original trilogy inspired writing rather than prequels. I realize these shows are in the prequel era, but please bring back some of that old school feel.

WORD.

There have been a couple of episodes I really got into, but most have been boring. I think I articulated my distaste for the Mandalore storyline somewhere else on this site, so I won't repeat that bitterness.

I regret buying the whole season on iTunes. It seems like even at its best, this show is trying to lead up to something big and exciting, but never really gets there.

I will agree with that. I didn't like Sateen at all really, and I had really high expectations for seeing new Mandos and it really fell flat. I mean that whole arc had so much potential and ended up being a big disappointment. I heard Dave Filoni say on the forcecast that they didn't want to make every Mandalorian as great as Jango and Boba. That's his way of justifying making three weak episodes I guess. No offense to Jon Favreau, but I didn't think his voice was a good choice for the first Mandalorian we got to see. I expected something stronger than that.

Oh well, it's still the second season, I'm sure there will be good episodes and bad to come. I'm sure they will come up with a good season finale like the Cad Bane episodes. I have a feeling little Boba will show up at the last minute. Then all summer everyone will be anticipating how great the show is going to be next fall, and then they'll let us down all over again.

Can anyone say Smallville? That show is the perfect example of what I hope doesn't keep happening to the clone wars. I really need to stop getting my hopes up really high. I imagine what it should be like or things I've seen done well in the past, and then it ends up totally different so I get disappointed. I must lower my expectations I guess.

I will say that the artwork keeps getting better and better in the show. I really just want to see something wild and new that has never been done yet. Like the first time you ever saw the cantina scenes. It just blew your mind with tons of crazy creatures and of course, Han killing Greedo to top it all off. They really need more of that in the show.

I agree the season started off on FIRE! The Mando storyline was ok for me, as I really don't know a lot of the EU stuff about them like you guys do. I think we could have done without the "love" aspect for the senator and Obi-Wan.

4 weeks left for the season, and with Boba coming into the show, Hopefully it will go out with a GREAT finale. Guess we will have to wait and see.

I can tell you that if they make a figure of Boba, I will grab it!

I think this finale will make up for some of the not so great episodes. This looks so tight!

http://starwars.com/video/view/000992.html

The episode "Bounty Hunters" wasn't so bad either. Ask and you shall receive. Embo is awesome. Check out the commentary by Dave Filoni about that. I like Hondo a bit more now also.

http://starwars.com/video/view/000991.html

This show is turning into a roller coaster. One week it's blah, the next it's great.

Just watched the first of the finale episodes death trap. I thought it was really good and Daniel Logan did a great job on the voices. I can't wait to see the rest of this story! Aurra is pretty mean! What did you all think of it?

So what did everyone think of the finale? I thought all of it was great but no cliff hanger ending??? That kind of threw me. I thought they should have left something hanging until next season to keep speculation growing. I'll try not to

***SPOIL***

anything here, but did you notice the ones captured at the end? I bet they will be in the first part of next season again. I hope they revisit this story in the future. It just seemed like it should have kept going I think.
