Marvel Universe figures from Hasbro - anny collectors here?

Hi all
I realise that this is Off-Topic in regards to Star Wars, but still comes under collecting. Do any members here collect the new Marvel Universe figures. I realise that we have a few members that are intO GI Joe, but not sure if we have any Marvel fans here.

I don't normally go for comic figures - but this range looks really good and reminds me of the old Secret Wars range I had as a kid.

I picked up a Green Goblin figure and am on the look out for a Green Hulk or classic Spiderman too. If anyone has these I would be willing to trade for Star Wars items.

I collect Marvel but usually only the Marvel Legends figures. I have the Deadpool figure in that scale and my son has the Red Hulk. I'll look out for you.

Yeah they are sort of replacing the Marvel Legends line it seems. You never see those anymore. These smaller ones have been around since the Wolverine film I think. When Hasbro took over the Toybiz stuff with Marvel, they started doing this scale of figures. Marvel Legends went from costing $8 to $13 which is ridiculous. They must have scaled them down to hit that $8 mark again. I actually quit buying Marvel Legends figures when they went up so high. I am contemplating selling some of those figures now and focusing more on Star Wars.

I only buy DC Direct stuff which is around $13 to $15 when my comic shop has Holiday deals. They do buy one get one free at Christmas and in the summer usually.

Jim, they have these smaller figures that come in Secret Wars comic packs. Not sure if you've seen them yet. Check for them on ebay. The green Hulk was pretty prevalent around Christmas time. Toys R Us had lots of them. I'll stop by there this week and see if they are still around.

I went to Walmart tonight and they had Iron Man and Union Jack. Going to a few stores tomorrow so I'll look around for the Hulk.
