| I just got done making 24 more wattos with just the new black, red and silver logo. The cardback one is hard to read because it is so small so I figured the logo would be better. | |

| These look really cool - the size of them is great and the artwork and designs are really good.
These will go down amazingly well - I wish I could be there to hand them out with you guys.

| Little things like a magnet will be sure to leave an impression. I'm sure we won't be the only ones handing out cards, but a magnet will be a little harder to forget about. I look forward to getting these in peoples hands and hopefully drive up the membership! | |

| I think I have around 40 magnets. I keep running out of ink. Luckily I went to fill it at the Rx store and they said it failed the test and gave it back for free. I got it home and it worked! Now I'm out again though and out of time. We'll just give the magnets to "special" people, lol. I'm giving a group of magnets to Dave Filoni at the party and I threw a watto's magnet in. Who knows, maybe he'll check us out one day. | |

We may run into spamming in the future but you can always kick them out, lol.
I only see the website listed on two of the designs ... Pit Droid and Cardback. Am I missing something? How will anybody know where to spam??

| Most of the magnets I've made are of my art to hand out to artists, actors, kids, etc. I can't wait to put something I drew in Dave Filoni's hand! I have about 100 magnets of those. I have about 40 Watto's magnets, (some with just the logo that are not shown above) then I ran out of ink again and time. We are also handing out Watto's business cards. I'm sure we have hundreds of those. As for spamming, I meant that if we focus on handing cards and magnets out to some of the exhibitors, they may spam the site looking to sell there stuff all of time. I guess that's what we're here for though.
The problem with these shows are you're not exactly sure who to give things out to. There is not much time. So you either give cards to everyone and hope they bite, which maybe in the future we could have a booth that would attract the people we want and/or need. Or I am thinking if you want trading/buying/selling action here, you give them to the vendors selling star wars stuff. Preferably the guys with vintage!! Since I know a lot of the founding members here love vintage. My point is, without a booth it is a little hard to just find the right people to give advertisements too while you are trying to see and do the other events. I mean, unless you are lingering around the vendors and watching for people you think are collectors. I guess just look for the ones with lots of shopping bags in their hands!
Maybe we should have the designated chat room discussion time that you brought up, J1m and DJ. Maybe we should have a focus group here this fall and winter and plan for next years con season. We should really think about who to attract and how to do it well.

I totally agree with what you are saying. As for aranging organised chat time here - it would be useful if active members want to get in touch to respond to this thread to show their interest in getting involved in the development of this site, rather than those critcising the actions of those that have taken a very positive move in pushing this site to better and bigger opportunities.
