| Just read this thanks to the peeps over at SatrWarsSpace.net. KOTOR is ending at issue 50. Big climax promised. It's actually an old article.
I'll have to catch up reading these finally.

| Knight Errant sounds interesting. I'll have to check out the novel too when it comes out but I'll probably wait for the paperback I'm sure. Sounds like a lot more Sith madness like in Legacy.
I hope KOTOR ends up with a big finale. The first story arc was great then it kind of got a little boring but I'm still back on the Rohlan vs Malak issue.
I collect all this EU stuff and I can't even digest it all. It takes months just to find the time to actually read this stuff. Maybe I should stay off the computer more! : D

| Picked up the final issue of Kotor yesterday. I'm gonna try and catch up on them today. Been reading The Heir to the Empire book though so it's taking my comic reading time. Did you ever get a copy yet Myles? | |

| That's cool Myles. I got to chapter nine and put it down for a little while. I've been watching anime shows instead of reading before bed. Let me know when you start reading it though. | |

| Rebelscum has some info about the upcoming Visions project. Looks like it's all about art and not a comic. Maybe we'll get some nice posters out of this.

| It looks like Legacy will be coming to an end in July at issue #50. How many of you are following this line?
http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/Dark_Horse_Comics_For_July_2010_130514.asp
On a related note, has anyone else picked up the third Purge comic? I'm wondering how long it will be until they put out a fourth and fifth then a TPB. The first one, I missed it when it was originally published so I picked up the comic pack with the figures to get it.
It really is a shame to see the comic packs line ending. They were an awesome venue for getting action figure collectors introduced to the comics and the creatively rich Expanded Universe.

| I read Legacy. I'm way behind though, back in the 30's somewhere I think. I need to catch up. I was wondering when they ended KotOR if they were going to end Legacy at issue 50 also. I hope they keep making figures for it. I'm sure EU figures will continue being produced, probably just not as comic packs.
I also bought the purge comic but have not read it yet. I read the last one and thought it needed more to it. I didn't realize there was an issue zero back before these. Now it's $25 on ebay??? I wish I would have gotten that but I must have missed it. I didn't seriously start collecting Star Wars comics until Legacy, kotor and Dark Times started. Now I'm going back trying to get all the back issues of Republic, Tales and Empire. I can't wait for Invasion to get going again.
If anyone wants to unload their old Marvel Star Wars comics or the others I mentioned, let me know!

| To my knowledge, there are only 3 Purge comics so far. The first one which is being sold by this guy on ebay as issue 0 is actually the first Purge comic which wss available as a comic pack.
You can find the comic pack on ebay for about $20 plus shipping.

New Fall Dark Horse comics. Knight Errant looks pretty sweet!
Is anyone else collecting The Old Republic comics that just came out?

| The cover art looks pretty nice.
On a related note, Legacy will be ending next issue, for a run of 50 total issues. I picked up the first few TPBs to catch up to the single issues. I got in around the big cross-over arc, the one that went from Old Republic to Dark Times to Rebellion to Legacy. Been on the single issues ever since. It'll be disappointing to leave the future world of Star Wars. If I'm lucky I'll be able to pick up the other TPBs at the con. There's usually this one booth where they sell a bunch of TPBs for about $5 each! That's an awesome deal. Then I can pick up the KOTOR comics too. I didn't get into it at first, and I'm not really sure why.
Is anyone else following the Invasion title from Dark Horse? It's been pretty fun to see the Vong in action.

| I went to a small comic sale here at a local hotel beck in November and came across this 1980 Marvel Super Special Magazine. It has all the Marvel Empire comics inside. It's really cool and in pretty good shape for being thirty years old. I paid $7. Usually I don't pay too much for comics but there wasn't anything else I wanted there so I got this. Here are a few pics | |

| Awesome find! That looks to be in really good condition! I remember a long time (but still the same galaxy...) when I was a kid I was at the bookstore and RotJ was still relatively new, they had a small paperback format of the comic adaptation of the movie. My mom bought it for me. I used to carry that thing around with me everywhere, then it got wet and started to fall apart, eventually becoming a warped, tattered, pages-falling-out, time-to-let-it-go chunk of colorful paper. I think I'll go look around for one somewhere. | |

| So the new five part comic series, The Dark Side, coming from Dark Horse will feature none other than Qui-Gon Jinn, pre-Obi-Wan! That's good news for comic fans. Count Dooku, pre-dark side, will also be in the mix as Qui-Gon's former master. Not a bad storyline if you ask me! Here's the MTV article. | |
