| I managed to pick up several of these about a month ago at Wal-Mart. Actually had a lot of figures that I had never seen before. Ki Adi Mundi concept, Alien woman (i forget her name) Bossk looking guy and a bunch of others. I have seen them at target as well but haven't been to TRUs in a while. I'll have to check them out. Looks like the economy is effecting everyone. Even Hasbro. trying to offload these figures as quick as they can. Makes you wonder just how much it really cost from concept to developement to packaging and shipping per figure. I'd bet under a buck in mass quantities. | |

| These look interesting.
In terms of cost of production - you would be surprised how cheap these can be. When my wife worked with Master Replicas/Cards Inc and we discussed figures you are looking at a very low actual cost, added to that some more to make cost for buyers, and retailers add onto that for sale.
You are looking at $1-2 per figure if that. We bought a case of Harry Potter figures (12 in a case) and paid £15 at the time through her company cost price.

| To add fuel to the fire so to speak, These two packs are actually two for the price of one! Retail on a figure here in Maine is 7.46 at Walmart. Target is within pennies. TRU, well they are always more and we all know that.
BUT these two packs ring up for the regular price, meaning you GET A FIGURE FREE!!!
So, that tells you that indeed there is a HUGE mark up on these toys, when you can get two for the price of one AND the store STILL makes a profit!

| I think it's crazy that all of these stores are selling these 2 packs this year. Usually Walmart would do something like that. I think Hasbro might have had something to do with it to push that stock out like you said before. I'm gonna have to go look around and see if anyone else is still doing this. I didn't see any of these a couple of weeks ago. It seems to be very sporadic. | |

| Thet will need to clear stock before they bring out the new "vintage" carded figures. | |

| I wouldn't mind, but all UK stores have stopped selling the Legacy line completely totally due to poor sales! Here they were retailing at £7.97 so about $11-12. | |

| I can find some figures from each of the last 4 waves.
Return of the Jedi (Wave 9)
A New Hope (Wave 10)
Revenge of the Sith (Wave 11)
The Empire Strikes Back (Wave 12)
Here is a link to the list of waves and the figures in them. If you click on the name it will bring up photos of each figure.

The only wave left here in the states before the card change will be the Expanded Universe wave. (Wave 13)
I hope it comes out soon!

I would be interested in the New Hope - Imperial Scanning crew and Jawa if they were available. If you see them let me know and I can send funds via Paypal.
Does the scanning crew come with two different figures - or are they only releasing one at the moment?

| There is only one scanner figure at the momnet. He comes with HALF of the equipment, so as far as I know, the second is SUPPOSED to be out either as a "repack" or a new figure when the next wave hits.
I really hope they don't wait untill the new card change, or worse yet CANCEL the figure.
I will check around this week and see what I can find for the New Hope wave. I know the Jawa and driod pack is still very easy to find.
Were you happy with the figures I sent out to you before?

| DJ - I was over the moon with the figures you sent before! A total surprise and the ones I really wanted from the Jedi Wave. Can't thank you enough - no chance of seeing them in stores! Keep debating whether to take them out of the packets!
It is a shame there are no european exclusives at the moment - but if I see anything of interest I will send it your way. Do you collect the Legends figures? we have a good range of them.

I would be interested in both scanning crew figures (when number two is released)

| Here is a flashback for most of us vintage guys. I was surfing ebay, looking for Scout Troopers and Speeder Bikes when I came across this two pack. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370342615954&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I know these are rare, but I can remember actually going into a KayBee toys store and getting two or three of these packs. Ironically, just like in the picture I think I got this same pack. I WAS NOT lucky enough to get weapons in my pack though. This one seems to have three weapons. Looks like a Scout Pistol, down on the bottom by the Scouts foot. There is also a force pike and the Bib Fortuna Staff!!! These packs are where I got both of my Lili Ledy Scouts from!!!
Unfortunantly, I had a mishap with one of my Ledy scouts. I dropped him, and the way he landed his head broke off! Didn't help that he was cold, and I dropped him durring a rinse off. I kept the head, and am looking for a no COO body to re attach it too.
