Oh I know the feeling, man. I'm still paying too. This time my wife wants to go, which means DOUBLE the cost of last year. Maybe it will be cheaper to Drive down. My In-laws drove, and said it only cost them about 400 bucks in gass. Thats cheaper then two plane tickets.

I'm excited, but would have been a little easier to swallow if it were in 2013!

I think I am going to start selling some of my collection. That was Kyle's advice. You can always buy "stuff" but the celebrations only come so often. You will never regret going.

The thing that really upsets me is that school starts here two weeks before. That's really a bunch of crap when you have to take your kid out of school right after they begin a new year??? What are these Reed Pop people thinking? Let me guess, that must be Disney's "down" time so they want to drum up business. It was bad enough last year that my daughter started school the day after we got back.

Well, don't mean to whine about. I am still happy for the convention, don't get me wrong.

Your son has to go back BEFORE Labor day? 99% of schools out here don't start until like the day after. That is pretty crappy. I don't know why they picked August again. Usually it's earlier. Guess they got the best deal from the Convention Center for that time frame.

I'm not complaining either. Already talked to Amy, and she said we start saving now! I'm sure all the details will come together, and we will be all set to go.

Does anyone else plan on going in 2012? Would love to be able to meet up with Darth Father or Darth Myles! Maybe James???

I hope not too! I have never been to Florida or a SW convention.

If things turn around and I can talk the family into taking our vacation in Florida instead of California, I may be able to get there.

I hope to make C6... last US show I did was NYCC in 07 which was a blast also done C3 and 2x SDCC as well as covered NYTF for the now defunct action-figure.com

I'm getting ready to start selling some of my collection so I can save up for C6. I have a lot of things I really don't need anymore so hopefully I'll bank some cash to get back down there next year. I just sold some old rings we had and made $190. Gold is really up these days.

If you guys go we will definitely hook up and meet down there.

We are planning to go but still have not confirmed any reservations. I am skipping C2E2 this year in order to go to Florida, and Jimmy just messaged me to see if I will be there next week. Anthony Daniels will be there too. Might have gotten to do a photo shoot with them. Uhg.

We will be at Celebration VI for sure now. I have the time off of work and we are looking for hotel rooms now finally. We missed all of the cheap ones. Might try to hit Disney this year too.

If anyone wants prints or magnets, I will be taking orders but wont be mailing anything out until after CVI. If you guys want to pay shipping I can probably hook you up for free if you like any of this stuff. 8x10 or smaller right now. I am not printing larger sizes yet. Let me know. I am trying to take as much to Florida as I can so I will have to get more supplies after the convention this fall.

Also if anyone wants/needs autographs from the actors at Celebration send me a message. If you send me the money I am always willing to get autos for you. I know most people would rather meet the actors in person. I will NOT be waiting in line for Mark Hamill though. I do plan to get Ian McDiarmid's auto so I will be in that line. I am pre-ordering my ticket for that now.
