First look at Darth Maul! I am so excited to see this. I don't care what anyone else thinks, bringing back Maul is a great move right before the 3D release (or after). Not sure when this will air on TV. It says Spring I think.

I love this quote from Dave in the story above.

“Here, we’re moving forward with Maul,” Filoni says. “He’s more than ten years older than he was in The Phantom Menace. That’s immensely satisfying, because now nobody knows what’s going to happen to him. I know, but nobody else does.”

Looks good - the irony of it is that Lucas was very vocal ( I think it might be on a DVD commentary) at the time of Phantom Menace that audiences be shown a shot of Maul in half as he fell down the shaft to show audiences that he was truly dead and that he would never return!

So now that season four has come to an end, what did you think? Did the return of Maul meet all of your expectations? What about Obi-wan going bald-headed? Or tell me how you felt about a rogue Jedi getting clones to slaughter one another? Whether you like every episode or not you have to admit, this season really brought it to you!

i loved it! darth maul was good and crazy. the season 5 preview looks really good too. i know this is off topic, but hows everyone been. i missed yall! glad to be back on line

Good to hear from you again. Clone Wars season 5 was pretty good overall, in my opinion.

The only thing I didn't really care for was the "spider" leg Maul. And a little bit of the survival story would have been cool, too. Other than the excuse "My Hate kept me alive"

I'm glad you're back, Myles! I actually liked the spider Maul. I don't think they will explain how he is alive. Dave said the dark side has kept him alive in a state of shock. All the droid pieces and trash bonded to him by the force but kind of in a subconscious way forming the spider body. Speaking of Maul, I am in Detroit and tomorrow I will be meeting Sam Witwer to get a spider Maul pic signed! I do like the way he looks now though. I am surprised they copied that comic exactly. I can't wait for the figures. The spider would make a great mail away. Looking forward to a Bo-Katan figure too and the new Pre Vizsla helmet. That looked great. I also love the new Boba look. I want to get Daniel Logan to sign a pic of that at CVI.
