what did you get today?

thursday i went to tru and they had a few cases of vintage figures sitting on the floor. i got dengar, 2 vaders, c3po and 1 new clone wars figure (pre vizsla) on the new card. the cases said do not shelf until august 8th and they are $9.99 each. i wnat to know what the cardback will look like for the figures that arnt vintage. these have the same back as the old votc line. pics of the vintage carded figure next to the new and improved figure. anyway, same old vader from the legacy line with lots of improvements to his helmet. the bottom part comes off, if you take off his head, and if sits alot better.

almost forgot, the mail away boba fett offer will accept pops from the b.a.d., legends and c.w. figures. sent off for 1 yesterday.

The non vintage will have the blue cards.

Myles - with the POP for the firing Fett - will we have to open /destroy the packaging of the new vintage line to send off for the figure, if we choose to use said figures?

d.f., yes, clone wars and legends are blue packs, legends has aan orange stripe.

jim, pretty much, the pop on the vintage is on the back of the card right behind the bubble, and all the others are inside the bubble.

I got Mos Espa Qui Gon MOC and the Clone Wars Commemorative DVD Collection 3 pack that did not come with a DVD. Funny to call it a DVD collection and not include a DVD!
It is the pack with Tattoo Anakin, Seasee Tiin and a Clone Trooper.

Waitng on the final EP.1 Qui Gon in need to complete the at run and 5 pop's and form for Boba Fett.

Just won a carded Dengar from the vintage collection on Ebay.

Got the EP. 1 Naboo Qui Gon today. I think that finishes the Ep. 1 carded Qui Gon figures except for the exclusive Qui Gon with Commtech chip reader 2 pack.

I got my Vintage A Wing pilot from ebay. Also got the Jump Trooper from the TFU 5 pack. I like this one better then the single carded figure because it actually comes with a jet pack!

My best score over the last couple days..... Tickets to Star Wars in concert! Got them off Craig's list. They even came with the VIP bracelets!!!

I got a form and 5 POP's for Boba Fett. Sent if off yesturday.

If any one has an extra form or two, I will buy it from you.

can the forms be photocopied and submitted?

Photcopies are not acceptable. I am getting a link from a scummer to print out the forms. Once I get that and verify it, I will post it here.

I managed to get my hands on a form as well. It will be in the mail tomorrow!! If you can indeed verify that link DF, you would be a life saver!! I plan on ordering at least two more!

Finally found an Aurra Sing and Mandalorian soldier from the clone wars line today in the new packaging. I had to say I was not impressed with the Aurra Sing figure so I didn't get it. I can't believe they made that antenna sticking out of her head so BIG! It looks ridiculous. I found them at Kohl's of all places (10.99 each!) but my wife had a killer coupon so I ended up getting the Mando and a clone wars Droideka for my son. Ended up being about $6 each. I looked everywhere in there for the Pre Visla figure but no luck.

TRU just got the new packaged figures last week here too. The first I've seen. No vintage cards yet. And if the vintage are going to be 10 bucks each I bet I won't even buy one figure until the price drops. These idiots are out of control with the prices. I heard Jimmy Mac on the forcecast say they were $10 at his TRU in Chicago.

A couple scummers are standing by the fact that you can use the Boba Fett order form posted on RebelScum. I printed 2 and resized them and will get them sent out shortly I hope.

I dropped by TRU today just to see if I could get lucky. I did, sort of. They had some of the vintage cards. The selection was weak, already picked over for the most part, but I did get the AT-AT commander and Dengar. Here's the good part. TRU is having a buy one get one half off on Hasbro items. Star wars figures are Hasbro items, so even at the $10 price point, you end up paying about 7.50 each, which is a lot closer to what they will likely go for at WalMart and Target.
