what did you get today?

Picked up the Mandalorian "Police Officer" last week, bleh, I hate that they called it that. Really takes me out of the star wars universe. Anyway, I like the figure. Hope to find a Pre Vizsla soon. James, feel free to use this for the site if you want.

Got my 2010 Fanclub membership kit. This is the last year they will be having the Hyperspace kit. It was supposed to be the best kit EVER.

It kinda sucks.... lol Everything was rolled in a tube this year, to avoid folding the posters. In the proces,, everything else got wrecked! The Topps Star Wars Galaxy card was creased down one whole edge. The coolest thing in there was the Empire 30th patch.


ALSO got my CV Badge!!!!! Boba Fett, nice and shiny! Stamped with 4 Day Pass on the front! Flight has been booked, and the hotel has been taken care of! Only thing I will need is a cab ride from the airport to the hotel!

We got our badges yesterday too!!!

I picked up one of the Mandalorian police officers as well. I find the lack of knee articulation to be a negative factor. It does not look right in a running pose with stiff legs.

Mando police officers appeared in the the clone wars episode The Mandalore Plot (season 2 ep 12). In Act II, when Satine and Obi-Wan speak to governor Pre Vizsla, you can see two of them standing behind him. You can also see a few (3?) in Act III walking on the tarmac near Satine's starship.

Ok, so I have to set up a back story here. My brother, who is going to CV with me, is a modern figure collector. I of course collect both VINTAGE as well as modern.

He had to work today, and was talking with one of the other guys about going to Celebration. His co worker mentioned how he had some Star Wars stuff from when he was a kid. Said not tooo long ago his mother told him he should sell the stuff on ebay. He told my brother that he didn't want to mess with ebay, and he would not even know how much to charge for the stuff. SOOOOO Long story short, he told my brother that if it was going to a good home, and went to a collector who would appreciate it, he could HAVE the stuff!!! Guy left work, went home, and brought him a FULL box of VINTAGE stuff. NICE stuff...... really good overall condition, with only a handfull of parts missing!!!

Where my brother does not collect Vintage, he then GAVE all the stuff to ME!!!!! I got a COMPLETE Millennium Falcon, I mean even the F'n Jedi Ball!!!!

ELEVEN Complete figure..... INCLUDING Brown Snake Yoda, and one of the BEST LOOKING Boba Fett Figures I have ever seen!
I am pretty sure that a few of them are Lili Ledy but I need to confirm that first.

NOW for the BEST part...... not like the other stuff was not good enough, BUT in the bottom of the box was a CARDED Boba Fett!!! I mean yeah the card is kinda F'd, but it's still a Carded Fett! And it has the Desert pic, not the fireball, which I hear is more rare.

So, that is my best score to date. And I guess the guy has ANOTHER box, and once he can dig it out, I can have that stuff too!!!!

what i got this week is 9 of the vintage coll. figures. still waiting on my space slug oven mit thuogh. also got 1 messed up fan club kit. only 2 things worth having, all the rest is either screwed up from the way they sent it or its some photo copied crap to color i guess. the posters are nice, but my empire poster is torn every inch up 1 side of it from the way they packed it! if this IS the last kit, they really screwed the pooch on it. i think d.j. had the same probs. with his.

Alright, so I found a website for some figure comparison. Not THE site I was trying to find, but this one seems pretty good. I looked over a bunch of the figures that came in the Vader case and as far as I can tell, here are the ones that are Lili Ledy.

Yoda.... I am not sure on this one, as according to the description, the one I have is not as dark as the one they show. The belt is missing a circle on the lantern, but the back closeure and the copyright match. The staff matches as well, but is a bit darker. The snake is supposed to have a circle undet the head, and this one does not.

Leia Boushh.... two different markings on the mold and the copyright line match the Ledy.

B-Wing pilot. Paint marking and the copyright location match the Ledy.


And just looking through my other figures I have found a stormtrooper and a chewbacca that appear to be Ledy as well!!!

I got a very nice vintage Vader TIE fighter yesturday. $18 shipped and only missing 1 decal.

Nice DF! That is one thing for Vintage that I don't have is a Darth Vader TIE. Are you going to get a repro for the missing panel or do you think you will try for a vintage?

Figures are out in my area FINALLY!!! Local Toys R Us had a fresh shipmetn, and we got there just in time to each grab a Boba Fett. Later we picked up a Bespin Luke and Hoth Leia. Will be getting the Boba signed by Jeremy Bulloch. These New carded figures DO NOT fit in the previous version Vintage Card clamshells.

The mailman brought me a couple of aprons from Shop.Starwars.com and the sandwich cutters (Millennium Falcon and Darth Vader's TIE Fighter) from Williams-Sonoma...


On my lunch break I hopped over to Target to look for more Mighty Beanz, and instead I found two new sets of Clone Wars bandages. Walmart was on my way back to the office, and on a quick run through I noticed these Star Wars pajama pants. They should keep me toasty warm in Orlando this weekend.


Finally, I snagged Hoth Han SL22 - the last figure I was hunting to keep the collection complete.

Today, Got both Jermy Bulloch and Daniel Logan autographs. Two of the nicest guys you will ever meet!! Daniel started talking to us and it was like he was a friend rom years back. Even takes the time to call you by name and THANK you. Jeremy is a very nice guy as well. Very refreshing to see actors who take pride in thier work.

Yesterday, picked up the CV exclusive comic pack, and a couple sets of the CV exclusive figures. James, I also have the set you requested.

Finally, I found and bought the Qui Gon with CommTech chip reader 2 pack!

Hope to have it by Monday. I have only seen one other on e bay and they seller wanted 40 bucks plus shipping for it. I got this one for less than 20 with shipping.

Also added Legacy shirtless Maul and Snow gear Rex.
