[b] OK, so like the thread that Darth Father started over on WOSW, this is a place to post what you saw, and where.


Today, I saw a LOT of stuff! The Target exclusive Wedge's Red 2 X-Wing. 49.99

Old Navy T shirts- Black t with yellow "Star Wars"

Empire Strikes Back Vintage style Both 19.00 each. (Old Navy has a lot of sales, so they will probably be cheaper soon)

And at a local comic shop, two other vintage style Star Wars T's.

Marshalls also had a Mark Ecko Star Wars shirt... Grey with Vader head. I'm nt a big fan of roses and daggers though. I have a pic from my phone. I'll have to upload it then post it here.

I saw the Endor Celebration GH, Battle of Endor Lego set, Hoth Lego set and two game type things for the Clone Wars. I can't remember what they were right now. Some kind of binoculors I think.

DJ, I saw the Mark Echo shirts at TJ Maxx. They have several but my wife thought they were to gaudy. The funnyiest one is Yoda with wings.

Hi all, I've been looking at the new waves of figures due for release. I notice that they are going to release a Skiff gunner figure. It looks really good, and is a new figure. I have just one question. It comes with a large gun, that has a clip to attatch it to something. I was wondering is this meant to attatch to the Tatooine skiff vehicle, or are Hasbro planning to release a new Jabba's Skiff.

I only say this as the waves seem to encourage you to buy more, ie Jawa packs with the droids from the Lars homestead or the clone gunner that attatches to the gunship.

Anyone know?

jim: in the past hasbro has said no 100 times to this. in the last q&a, quite a few people asked the same question your asking. they are now saying its a possibility. nothing for sure, but it looks promising for 2011. we can only keep our fingers crossed. hasbro always uses the kids spend more thing, but i can tell you i spend 5 times the money my parents ever spent on me.

check out some of the old q&a's on rebelscum, i think it was in 1 of the last 2 sets of round ups.

I've noticed some craziness in the distribution here. One target had some Legacy wave 8 figs, Clegg Holdfast and the Biker Scout trooper. The card border was black instead of orange. No other target's had this wave. Anyone else seen this wave yet?

Also, I have not seen the new comic packs yet, specifically the one with Darth Krayt and Sigel Dare. But while at toys r us last weekend I saw some comic packs with the new packaging. Just the colors changed. Likely in this case someone beat me to it. Or not...

I have also not seen the Geonosis battle packs but I hear some of you all have found some.

What are your experiences? Any ideas what's going on? (I'm out in southern california, if that helps piece things together).

I have not tnoticed the card backas at all.
How ever, I have NOT seen any figures with the Qui Gon/Eopie offer.

There is nothing new here yet either. I've been looking for that Legacy comic pack for over a month since it was supposed to come out August 1st!!! Nothing so far. I'm in Indiana though, you should get things way before I do.

yes, ive already finished L8L9. the legacy cards are black. legends are orange and clone wars are red. ive seen them at few walmarts and targets. i really like the black. the new comic packs started showing up about the begining of sept.

Finally saw some figures with the mail in offer.
Target has Clone Wars school supplies in the dollar section. I did not buy any though.

Craziest thing though, with the last wave of the blue and whites, the HK47 BAD series, I had a friend out in PA, near Carlisle. She saw the figs at Walmart way before me. I'm guessing it's hit or miss.

On my way to work I stopped at Walmart. They finally got the Legacy wave 8 figs with the black border cards and Qui Gon Jin offer, and a case of CW wave 9. Some guy beat me there. He grabbed all the Argyrus figs. Greedy. He left one Thire fig. But really doesn't matter, Thire's a re-pack of the Walmart 2 pack.

Still no Geonosis gunship turrets or comic packs.

I bet a lot of the stores across the country get figures ahead of time and keep them in the back until the others run low. Or maybe until a certain date that the managers decide.

Sounds right. A few waves ago one of the walmarts had put out some comic packs early and they wouldn't ring up because they couldn't put the sku into their system because they were not supposed to be sold before a certain date. It happened again with the exclusive evolutions too. Some of the boxes have "street dates" on them, a do not display/sell before date. Lurk around when they're re-stocking and sometimes you'll see a box or two with these dates.

I finally saw the three packs at Walmart this weekend. I really want that Fi Skirata figure. The clone pilot with the new helmet and the shadow biker scout are great too.

I'd like to get that for my son for Halloween. I got the Vader voice changer for $10.00 at Target back in the day. That was awesome. He still wears it all the time.

No Legacy comics packs with the Darth Krayt or Yuhzan Vong but I did find the Star Wars The Clone Wars: Octuptarra Droid (finally at seemingly reasonable price)
marked down at my local Wal-Mart for 15.00. The 35.00 is just way to much for a very simple ship as this even if it is exclusive. Way to many of these things sitting on shelves so I really look for some more mark downs on these. I have been seeing a ton of the evolution Wal-Mart packs as well and also one Clone Wars Y-Wing but I haven't gotten it. I'm saving my money for the exclusive Gunship! Also found all figures for the build a droid for L8-L9!

Yesterday in Baton Rouge,La I saw a lot(20 I think) of the BMF sitting up on top shelf at Toys R Us and some At-Te's at Toys R Us. They also had a few the old battle packs from Battlefront II but nothing really marked down. I also saw one of the new Clone Wars Y-Wings and there were two of the republic gunship LAAT crumb bombers. The only thing I got was the McQuarrie signature series packs as I needed the Luke Star Killer and also the droids from that wave. I have been seeing a ton of the evolution packs at all of my local Wal-Marts and the two packs are still hanging around but slowly dwindling away. Still no sign of the comic packs and no sign of the at-st walmart exclusive. At Rite Aid drug store the crimson empire set is still sitting on shelves marked to 19.99 but no sign of the Tie fighter with Hobbie there. Going to town today and checking out Wal-Mart again.

Oh man I am kickin' myself for not waiting. I was out this weekend and checked a couple of Targets. One actually had all the new comic packs including the Darth Kraytone, also Lumiya/Luke Skywalker and the Yuuzhan Vong one. I could've had those for retail plus tax instead of retail plus shipping...grr...oh well. I might drop by after work and see if they still have the Lumiya one.
