Note the vintage card style, AND if you click through the slideshow, you will see the HOLY GRAIL !!! Man, I don't know what to think. That mail away Boba Fett is SO COOL! I'm really upset that the visionaries Maul figure is a comic con exclusive. That pisses me off 'cause now I'll have to pay a lot more to get it. I was expecting a little more out of the TFU wave. Maybe that spider handed Jedi that you fight towards the beginning or a junk golum? The Galactic Heroes and Clone Wars stuff looks great though! It looks like it will be quite a year for collecting.

| SPENCERS Gift, Chain of quirky novelties and etc etc. Is not carrying.
STAR WARS Fitted Ball Caps. VERY NICE.
They have A BOBA FETT, DARTH VADER and STORM TROOPER.
They Remind me of Marc Ecko Clothing. Embroidered Details on them, not some cheap Press on business.
With One size fits all either, they actually come in Sizes, the local one only had Size L, I need a XL or XXL guess I will keep looking.
SPENCERS has them, but for some reason they are not on their website yet. I think Im gonna get the STORM TROOPER and Darth Vader ones.
They are Quality LFL Items, They are the Stretch Material so they like custom fit you head.

| PLEASE can a member here put in an order for the mail-away Fett. That looks great. I even have vintage packaging with the original offer on and that figure would look amazing alongside it.
If anyone is going to CV - please could you keep an eye out for the 4-Lom and Zucjuss along with the Cami and Fixer figures. I will pay or trade for all items.

My wife found $79 flights from here to Orlando (one way) so now we are talking about going again. Like I said it's a 50/50 chance I guess. But if I do go I will certainly get whatever possible for you guys who want the stuff. They are saying if you buy tickets you can place your orders online this time and have the stuff waiting for you to pick it up. That should make the store scene MUCH more bearable. Last time my wife waited in line for FOUR hours to get the C3 exclusives. Then by the time she got there, they had sold out of the special Vader clam shell cases. I still don't have one.

Plane tix will come soon after, and I WILL be going! I really hope I can meet at least one other Watto's member out there. I'll be going with my brother, and we MAY be rooming with Syphodiaz to help defer some costs for all of us.
I'll do my best to grab exclusives, I do plan on bringing a good amount of spending money!

| Hey all, just a note I thought I would send out.
in an attempt to plug the site again, I sent an email to the guys who run the Forcecast Podcast.
I told them about the site, and how we would like to network with and socailize with other collecotrs, and if there was ANY way possible, could we get an on air plug for the site. Also invited the guys to join if they check the site out and like what they see.
I sync the new episodes every week, so let's hope that sometime soon we will be hearing watto;s junk shop on the podcast!!!!
Trying not to get my hopes up, I just sent the email. But these guys seem pretty cool, so maybe they can help!

| DJ - This is great news.
It also raises the issue of promoting this site. We have a lot of very active and supportive members. We just need to publicise the group more to attract larger numbers and involve members who are inactive.
We have a lot of visitors daily that have not registered - to all such visitors - take the time to sign up and get involved with discussion.
If members want to tak an active role in this site (writing reviews or features or just promoting the site do let DJ or myself know).
Similarly if you have any ideas about boosting numbers - post ideas here too.
Thanks for everyone's continued support.

| Hey DJ, I know how to get a plug on the forcecast. Send Jason Swank a black stormtrooper! Haha, he hates the black hole stormies. I didn't know you listened every week. I do too. Their show is awesome! | |

| HA HA HA I almost forgot he HATES the Shadow Troopers!
I have actually only been listening sicne I heard you mention the show a couple months back. I like what I hear, so figured why not send a message and see if we can get a plug.
They plan on being at Celebration 5 to do a live show, just like they did at C4.
If you do wind up going maybe we can meet up that day and go meet them too!
Also, another BRAND NEW podcast that is only 2 shows deep so far has come from
www.theswca.com You can find it on iTunes under 'chive cast. They have a lot of vintage news but talk about modern too.
SPEAKING of Vintage.... just saw this from our friends over at rebelscum.com
News about the Ultimate Galactic Hunt figures for the 2010 line!!!

| Wow, I'm not sure I really like those figures. Now I think they really should release vintage kenner figures. I would totally chase those instead of these. The only one I really like is the ugnaught. Maybe the Luke.
If I get to go to C5 I will totally be looking to hook up with the forcecast. I've only been listening since December, but I've heard about half of their archives. At my old position at work, I listened to my mp3 player all day so I was pumping 8 hours of star wars talk radio through my head! I still haven't heard their C4 coverage. I need to check that out.

| Rumor on the line is that the last wave of the build a droid figures is set to be a Toys R Us Exclusive!! If anyone else has heard differently, then by all means post here and let me know.
I have seen on ebay four or five of the alien Bespin guard, all listed as TRU exclusives. MAYBE just that figure, but I will be screwed if TRU is the only place to get the last wave. My store is only half an hour from me, but they are so slow on sales that I will probably NEVER see these figure in my store.
Don't really want to pay inflated ebay prices, so if any of you guys out there come across the figures, please let me know. I'll be more then happy to send payment.
According to rebelscum.com, the wave is starting to filter out to some stores. I have checked both hasbrotoyshop.com and toysrus.com. Neither site has any figures from the new wave available yet. A case can be pre-ordered from entertainmentearth.com for 95.99. Includes 6 EU wave figures, and 7 repacks, with one of the repacks assumed to be the alien guard.
If for whatever reason I should stumble upon them before you guys find any, I'll update this message.
I can't imagine that Hasbro would make a WHOLE WAVE a single store exclusive, but they did it before for Walmart with the black card Saga collection a few years ago. So damaging to the hobby, in my opinion to limit availability of figures just to drive business for one chain. Especially seeing how our "friends" at TRU inflate prices to begin with!

| I'll keep a look out. I want that wave too. I've been waiting for that K'kruhk figure for a long time. I really want Jaina and Jacen Solo too. I'll have to drop by TRU this week and see what they have going on. My Walmarts here are all full of the same old stuff. Boy am I glad I bought that AT-RT when I did. I still have never seen another since. Still haven't found a Thi-Sen figure yet either. | |

| I went to TRU and I did not see any of the new figs but I did see some repacks with the new droid parts. So it looks like the final wave has hit at TRU but I've just been too late to get the new figs. | |

| Anyone else see the stickers to win CV tickets?
It's not like they're on new items either. They're on a bunch of peg warmers! Makes me wonder if this is yet another attempt of Hasbro's to get rid of all those old peg warmers. Rebelscum.com has an article on it:

| Jim,
To the best of my knowlegde, the second scanner is on "hold" Hasbro said that with the Vintage card style, they are limited to what they can pack with a figure. They are "working on plans" to figure out how and where to market him.
It seemed pretty simple to me.... just make him part of the final wave of the current card style. They did it with the second bespin guard, why not just pack the second scanner figure in the same wave?
My fear is that he will be reduced to some battlepack, making us collectors pay money for a bunch of repacks just to get a scanner crew figure.
Actually, they COULD release some sort of set with the scanner crewman, two stormtroopers and an Imperial officer or something, just like the scene in A New Hope.

| A battle pack of imperials would be cool, but knowing hasbro and their warped mantra that everything must be marketable to kids, especially the ones that only know the "main" characters, it will likely include another luke skywalker and another darth freaking vader. Ideally, it would be the missing scanning crew member, a stormtrooper, an imperial officer, and maybe a spacetrooper or another storm trooper. | |

| Dude, at C3 the people waited all night to see him. They were lined up at 7:00pm when the show ended Friday. We were walking out to leave and they were standing with their kids outside under an overhang and it was 40 degrees out and raining. The line went around the building. Then I heard they let them move into a hotel lobby or something and the whole line just ran for it and everyone lost their original places. Too much of a headache for me but I would like to see him live once. Especially since he rarely goes to these things. But then again you can always see it online almost as it's happening. Crazy stuff. | |
