| Figure Reemption Inc cashed all 4 of my checks. This means that the form posted at RS and the link posted here are acceptable for the Rocket Firing Boba Fett! Here is the link again: http://www.rebelscum.com/photo.asp?image=http://www.rebelscum.com/TVC/VCfettcoupon1.jpg Counting down 6 to 8 weeks! | |

| Subject: New figure releases - UK Sat Jul 31, 2010 2:42 pm | |
| I have seen the new blue packaged Legends figures in the major supermarkets in the UK. No sign of the new Clone Wars ones although TRU have reduced the existing ones to half price.
In terms of the new vintage collection - they have been released in the UK, but only as a TRU exclusive - which is a real pain and a little disappointing.

| Okay, so no promises, and not getting any hopes up YET.
I just sent an email to one of the Hasbro reps from Celebration V. We will see where it goes, but the talkes seemed promising while we were there.
I'll let you know if I hear anything back!

| I cannot BELIEVE what I just saw on ebay!! I know that the cereal boxes at celebration 5 created quite a buzz, but I just think this is rediculous!!!
The artists who did the boxes were each responsable for creating AND paying for the production of each box. As a result, they were givien at least one complete set of boxes, and a special bonus. I saw Grant Gould being awarded his at the end of the show. The specail gift is a stainless steal luchbox, and included a cereal bowl, glass milk bottle and spoon.
Someone put thier gift set up on ebay, and here is what it sold for!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/STAR-WARS-CV-COLLECTOR-PANELS-MINI-CEREAL-BOX-GIFT-SET-/260654124326?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb0324d26&autorefresh=true

| That is INSANE! Click on the seller's other items. It looks like an exhibitor/vendor might have bought this from one of the artist's maybe. This person is selling a bunch of graded vintage figures. Dude we got two of the FREE plastic clone wars cereal bowls from the family room and I saw someone selling three of them today. It was at $36! | |

| Looks like the Vintage 12 inch line is not in the $20 price range. Han and Chewy have been released and they are $75 each! | |

| Are those the gentle giant things? Do you have a link? I don't know about the 12" vintage. Just saw the gentle giant stormtrooper at CV. I read they were going to make more too. | |

| Very True, DF. The article in Toyfare a couple months ago had a lot of information. Some of it not correct apparently. They said that the first 12 are all planned on being made, and more will follow based on the success.
The article also said that these would be General releases, and should be in the 20.00 range. Well we can see from the website that they are going to continue to be limited, with only 2500 of each being made. The price is a REASONABLE?????? 75.00
So, unless they decide to make them no more then 30 bucks, and they are on the shelf at Walmart and Target, I'm OUT. Too bad, too, because these things are AMAZING.

| Gentle Giant don't make much for 30 bucks. You have to admit, seeing vintage Kenner looking statues lined up on a shelf would be totally cool! If only I were rich. If I were rich, I would probably only collect gentle giant and sideshow stuff. I wouldn't even mess with hasbro anymore. | |

| Subject: STEVE SANSWEET LEAVING LUCAS FILM IN 2011!!!!! Wed Oct 20, 2010 3:22 pm | |
| My God, I am in shock! I just read this a few minutes ago. It is posted on Starwars.com and his facebook fan page.
https://www.facebook.com/notes/steve-sansweet/steve-sansweet-to-start-a-new-chapter/10150089243215033
He will be missed, and while I'm sure he will be very connected with fans even after he leaves, LFL will never be the same. I'm glad I got to meet him at CV. There is no telling if he will be at CVI, and if so what his involvement will be. I can't even imagine them planing another Celebration without him.

| Wow, that's crazy. Maybe this Celebration took it all out of him! Just kidding. Glad I got to meet him this year also. Those are going to be some big shoes to fill at Lucasfilm. | |

I would have to agree about the 6 in the warehouse! What I'm wondering is would Walmart price match this Internet claim!?

| Well Darth Mater, your in LUCK!! According to rebelscum.com, if a store has it in stock, it is an unadvertised sale that will ring up half price!! At least that is what seems to be all over the forums there. Severl people said they tracked them down on the store locator, and got there to half price AT AT goodness! I don't know how long the sale is going on, but let us know if you get one!!
