I just caught this trailer over on Grant Gould's blog. Man, I got to get a Blue Ray player and get these first! This video is very high def and looks beautiful. I can't wait to see the new shows and the new Maul, Savage Opress! 10 days away!

Looks impressive
Still haven't watched beyond the first two episodes from Season 1! I think I will invest in the Season 1 and 2 DVDs and catch up - It looks to be really impressive at this stage.

Season one had some really good shows, and some that were ok. Season two had a lot more really good stuff. The quality is constantly getting better, and this year we will be seeing some great animation improvements. So says the man himself, Dave Filoni!
I have season one on DVD, and let me tell you, it looks AMAZING on my tv and blue ray player! I know blue ray up converts DVD to the highest Def. it can. I am torn between DVD and Blue Ray for season 2. It will come down to features and price I think.
I can not wait for season 3, I only hope this Maul's brother thing plays out great instead of sucking.

Dan Curto just posted this on facebook. At first I thought I missed it, but I see it was a deleted scene from the premiere.

At CV I know people were saying the Republic Commando clones are going to be in this season. I thought they would be in the premiere but I was wrong. Look at that top teaser video in this thread. You can see them standing there. That will be sweet, I can't wait!
These first episodes were a little of the same ole thing. I think they should have blasted us with something totally unique as the first show. Just my opinion. Oh well, maybe next week.

YUP! I completely missed that too!
Guess we really need to start paying closer attnention. I love this show, but it amazes me how some people get REALLY into this show. Especially the Focecast guys, who EVERY WEEK sit for a roundtable discussion and break down each episode. I don't know if I can sit through an entire breakdown, but I just downloaded the season 3 premier show, and will give it a try.

Too bad Dave Filoni doesn't do the round tables. They always want him to answer things that he can't. At least he could answer everything about the episode after it has aired. I love it when he's on there. I can't believe we have star wars radio and get to hear interviews with the cast and director of the newest ongoing star wars series! If this were 1984 I would say yeah, like that would ever happen.
I know there are tons of podcasts out there but the forcecast is definitely the best one I've heard. Very professional. I mean c'mon, Jimmy even paid $400 just to interview George Lucas and share that with the fans! These guys are great.
You can hear it here.

Okay so Clone Wars episode 7 and I have to say, I am really getting annoyed by the weak writing and the HUGE lack of action in each episode! What do you guys think? I was led to believe this was going to be THE greatest season and I am really not feelin' it yet. Tonight's show with Aurra was a little better but they really need to step it up I think.
Does anyone else miss Anakin and Obi-Wan??? You know, the main characters of the show!
They just really keep failing with the Mandalore stuff too. Those last two episodes should have never existed. Or am I being too harsh here?

So I've had a rant or two about this season of the clone wars not being up to par. Well, I just listened to Jimmy Mac's recap of the Savage Opress theatrical release, which I am very jealous that I could not get tickets too, and I must say it sounds like the second half of the season is going to be great! Lucasfilm gave out free Savage T-shirts, popcorn, drinks, and posters to everyone who attended the movie in Chicago last week. Also of all the people to show up, Tom Kane the voice of Yoda was there and signed every single poster!
I was one day late in getting tickets. By the time I heard about it they were sold out. I was going to drive two hours there to see it just to have that Star Wars theater buzz again. Oh well, I'll have to wait and watch it on TV in a month like the rest of the world.
In the meantime, check out the trailer they played for the rest of season three. This came on after the movie ended. Check out the very last scene!
Jimmy said this was some of the best Star Wars he has ever seen. Not some of the best Clone Wars, but Star Wars. I can't wait to see it!
For those who have opted out of watching this show purposely, I think January 2011 is the time to change your mind and hop on board. George is using many different writers, so like with other show, not all episodes blow your mind every week. But I do think the good ones outweigh the not so good ones.
JAN. 7, 2011 Savage Opress come to Cartoon Network!
IGN has given these episodes a great review too.

So does anyone think they will kill her off? If she is now a sith, will she replace Ventress? Maybe when the seies comes to an end we will see if Anakin kills her.

I wonder how this might affect some of the younger fans. Ahsoka has become a lot of people's favorite character. The smart mouthed kid really grew on us. I've heard other people saying that too, how they really like her now. I just wonder what little girls are going to think of this.
I'm just glad the episodes are about to get back to the real deal. All this political stuff is too Phantom Menace for me. I guess Dave Filoni said there is a reason later for all of the political stuff going on now.

You know I had a thought about this whole thing. MAYBE this will turn out to be a dream sequence.....
There are a lot of visions, dreams and "could Be" in this show. I can't imagine that for the 4th season Ashoka would be a villan. This is Star Wars, and Jedi have been lost before, but this would REALLY put a spin on the show. And I agree, the younger viewers might not understand.
Just a thought. I could be and probably am wrong, but I just don't see it in the show to turn her evil.

No, your right. I think you're on to something here. I kept thinking what a drastic move this was. And you know Lucasfilm, if they were going to really do that, it would be a total secret. I bet it's a vision of hers. You know how trailers are, always make you think one thing and it's something else.

Well, that is how I plan to treat it untill I see the show. If she goes darkside, it will be a pretty big shock! We will have to wait untill the end of the season to know for sure. Damn trailers! I'd almost rather not see them so I don't dwell on the images we see in them! LOL

I just watched the first episode of the Nightsisters trilogy. A very good start to the story. I can't wait for the others. Nice Ventress back story. Did not see that coming.

Man I have not even watched these yet! I have a couple more days to go, and I will have all three recorded, so I don't have to wait, I'll just watch them all at once!
Crazy.... I have been looking forward to the show coming back on, but have not seen a single clip yet! LOL.
Adam, is it worth the wait?
Ashoka has not turned yet has she?

The Savage eps are definitely the best stuff this year so far and possibly could end up being one of the best arcs of the series. It's very dark side. As for Ahsoka, she has not been in it. I have a feeling that will be the season finale and I actually hope they end it on another cliffhanger like season one did. Season two ended with the Boba Fett arc which was good but it felt like too much closure at the end. I'm used to watching LOST and shows that really leave you hangin' over the summer to speculate.
I just listened to the Clone Wars half-time show with Dave on the Forcecast and let me tell you, while it was nice to hear the behind the scenes details, the show was somewhat boring due to the first eleven episodes of this year being steeped in political stories and the lack of "Star Wars" type action that we long for. I mean Dave even admitted that in one episode he realized there was basically no action at all so they through in the speeder bike chase at the last minute. He said from these episodes on we are in for a ride! I am soooo glad.
I do find that I like the shows more after the second or third viewings. I think the twenty-two minute thing kind of sucks and I wish it was an hour long show. It is much better to watch the entire arc at once but then you run the risk of hearing or seeing things that ruin the surprises for you. Remember Ziro? Haha, my bad!
***POSSIBLE SPOILER*** I'm just wondering if something about Darth Maul is going to come up at the end of this because I heard Jimmy interviewing people at the theatrical release and I caught him really quickly asking his son something about Darth Maul but I forget what he said. Even if they don't bring him back, Savage will be a nice twist for the show and let me tell you I agree with Dan Curto, if Hasbro wants to sell mail away figures, Savage is the one! I would be all over that.
I hope you changed your DVR to the new time, DJ. It starts at 8:30 now. If not I have recordings of every show this year. I don't have a DVR that does the whole season recording thing so I don't know exactly how that works if they change a time on you.
